Terms of use
Effective September 7, 2026
These terms govern use of SinaHealth, operated by Sina Health Centres Inc. for Sina Medical Clinic. Use the service only for its intended clinic and patient communication purposes and in accordance with these terms.
Authorized use
Staff access is limited to authorized users acting within their assigned role. Protect credentials and secure links, use only accounts you are authorized to connect, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Do not access another person's records without authority, bypass security controls, upload malicious content, or use the service for unlawful activity.
Clinical communications
SinaHealth supports communication and administration. It is not an emergency service and messages may not be monitored continuously. For an emergency, call 911 or seek emergency care. Sending a message does not guarantee receipt, a response time, an appointment, or creation of a clinician-patient relationship. Follow the clinic's instructions for urgent concerns.
Staff must check patient identity, recipient details, attachments and clinical content before sending or filing information. Automated extraction and matching can make mistakes and do not replace professional judgment. Patients should provide accurate information and contact the clinic about errors.
Connected services and consent
Connecting Gmail authorizes the mailbox functions described in the privacy policy. Other enabled integrations support email, SMS, fax, secure documents, payments and telehealth. Third-party availability and terms may affect these functions. Google may require renewed authorization after revocation, security changes or other account or policy events; continuous connection cannot be guaranteed.
Documents, payments and records
Use secure links only as intended and do not share them with unauthorized people. Expired or revoked links may stop working. Charges and payment conditions, where applicable, are those communicated by the clinic for the particular service; these terms do not create a new fee or refund policy. Record access, correction and deletion requests are handled through the clinic and are subject to applicable retention obligations.
Availability and access changes
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, technical failures or events outside the clinic's control. The clinic may restrict or suspend access to protect patients, investigate misuse or meet legal requirements. Contact the clinic through its usual channels if an online function is unavailable.
Applicable law and updates
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of British Columbia and Canada. They do not exclude rights or duties that cannot lawfully be excluded. Changes will be posted on this page with their effective date. Contact the clinic if you have questions about these terms or need an alternative way to communicate.
